Dyslexia School
The most successful school for literacy in the UK has
been working with Reeves for around two decades.
During this time, we have provided counsel and support
to senior leadership, leveraging the traditional strengths
of our agency to get our clients featured in the news,
with multiple appearances on radio, TV, and in print
and online.
The small independent school, now in its 昀椀fth decade,
specialises in helping dyslexic children who struggle
with reading and writing in mainstream schools.
They teach literacy through a unique method using
morphemes, resulting in literate pupils who achieve
a set of GCSEs that re昀氀ect their skills in the subject,
preparing them for further education or work.
Highlights over the years have included campaigns
to improve prospects for parents seeking an EHC
plan for their child, addressing inequities across local
authorities, and celebrating pupil achievements.
Notable accolades include the ITV Teacher of the
Year award for founder Dr Neville Brown, TES Award
nominations, a royal visit, and a national radio
appearance with author and actor Henry Winkler,
famous for his role as the Fonz, live from the school
on BBC Radio 4.
Our close collaboration with senior leaders gives us
a deep understanding of the school and its culture,
enabling us to quickly capitalise on media opportunities
for expert commentary on literacy, SEND issues and
general school life.
